This 6 day 5 night theatre tour of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Stratford and Toronto includes the following: round trip non-stop airfare Newark /Toronto /Newark, 5 nights accommodations, six theatre performances, breakfast daily, 2 dinners, 2 lunches

Once again, our summer Canadian Theatre Tour is a theatre lover's dream. The superb quality of the Canadian theatre is on display in three productions at the Shaw Festival and three productions at the Stratford Festival.  We spend  
two nights in the storybook village of Niagara-On-The-Lake and three nights in lively Stratford.  Our hotels are conveniently located near the theatres and sights. The tour is limited to 29 persons.  
 






1.  Wednesday, July 19     Newark/Niagara-On-The-Lake
We depart from Newark airport at 12:00pm on Continental Airlines non-stop flight to Toronto. Upon arrival at 1:30, we travel directly via private motor coach to the storybook village of Niagara-On-The-Lake, a beautiful town full of lush parks and gardens and some of Canada's finest Victorian architecture. Niagara-On-The-Lake recently won an award as the "Prettiest Town in Canada." On arrival we check into the Royal Park Hotel, located right in the center of town within walking distance of the Shaw Festival. Our welcome dinner is at the hotel. This evening we see our opening performance, You Never Can Tell.  
 



2.  Thursday, July 20     Niagara-On-The-Lake
After breakfast, we have a tour and lecture of the Festival Theatre (based on availability).  Following lunch (on your own) we see our second performance, The Constant Wife.  Following performance you’ll have time a leisure and dinner on your own before our third, and final, Shaw Festival performance, The Autumn Garden.



3.  Friday, July 21     Niagara-On-The-Lake/Stratford
After breakfast, we depart by private motor coach for the charming town  of Stratford, Ontario. Here a classic English setting lends the perfect environment to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. Founded in 1953, the Festival is arguably the best summer repertory theatre for classics in North America with a company of 54 actors and shops to create costumes, sets  and props for any period with meticulous attention to detail and  
authenticity. You have lunch (included) before a knowledgeable local guide takes us on a sightseeing tour of Stratford. This historical step back in time explores homesteads, history and heritage. Following the tour, we check in at the Victorian Inn, conveniently located within a short walk of the Festival Theatre. This evening we see a performance of As You Like It.  



4.  Saturday, July 22     Stratford
This morning we have a backstage tour of the Festival Theatre then the remainder of the day is free to explore this charming city at leisure.  Perhaps you would like to take in a matinee performance?  This evening  we attend a performance of The Tempest.



5.  Sunday, July 23     Stratford
This morning we tour of the Festival’s Costume Warehouse.  Following the tour, we’ll have time for lunch on our own before seeing our final matinee performance of Hello Dolly.   Tonight we enjoy our farewell dinner.  



6.  Monday, July 24     Stratford/Toronto
After breakfast travel via private motor coach to Kleinburg where we tour the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and have lunch.  Following lunch we transfer to the Toronto airport.  Our Continental Airlines flight leaves at 5:00pm, arriving at Newark at 6:45pm.
